Overseas Chinese Students Medical Insurance
- New Direct Admission Overseas Chinese Students with residence duration less than 6 months can apply for Oversea Chinese Students Medical Insurance
- Overseas Chinese with valid Student Status/ARC and stayed in Taiwan for 6 months, with no exit from Taiwan once with not more than 30 days, are required to apply for Taiwan National Health Insurance by law.
- If the above qualifications are not fulfilled, students will continue to apply for Cathay Life Insurance .
- These insurances are to assure there will be sufficient fund for emergency medical expense.
Group insurance applicants
- ROC National Identification Card holders with immediate family members in Taiwan must rely on their immediate family members to apply for insurance;
- ARC holders and ROC IC holders without immediate family members will rely on the school to apply for insurance.
