境外生華語能力檢定獎勵實施要點
The Regulation of Chinese Language Proficiency Test Award for International Students

On May 7, 2025, the Student Affairs Report was approved

一、 本校為鼓勵境外生增強其華語能力，以提升職涯競爭力，促進留臺就業，特訂定本要點。

To encourage International students to enhance their Chinese language ability, to enhance their career competitiveness, and promote employment in Taiwan, the University has formulated the regulation.

二、本要點華語獎勵之對象為本校有正式學籍之境外生於在學期間(新生自入學當年度8月1日起算，含外籍生、僑生及港澳生，不含陸生)參加本要點所列之華語能力檢定考試，符合各級獎勵標準者。

The aim of the Chinese language award is for international students who have official student status of the university and take the Chinese language proficiency test listed in this point during the study period (Starting from August 1 of the year of enrollment for new students, including foreign students, overseas Chinese students, Hong Kong and Macao students, excluding Mainland students) and meet the award standards at all levels.

三、本要點華語獎勵級數分為三級，限在學期間通過檢定考試獎勵標準，方可申請：
There are three levels of Chinese Language awards at this point, and only those who have passed the certification examination award standards during the school year can apply:

(一)檢測種類：通過以下其中一項能力檢定
Type of test: Passed one of the following ability tests

1. 華語文能力測驗 (TOCFL 正式考試) 
   Chinese Language Proficiency Test (TOCFL Official Test)
2. 校內華語文能力測驗快篩系統 (本校華語中心舉辦) 
   NTHU CLC TOCFL- Speedy Screening (Organized by the NTHU Chinese Language Centre)

(二)獎勵級數及獎勵金額：
Number of award levels and reward amount:

1. A2級能力測驗認證NT$ 1,000 
   A2 level aptitude test certification NT$1,000
2. B1級能力測驗認證NT$ 2,000 
   B1 level aptitude test certification NT$2,000
3. B2級能力測驗認證NT$ 3,000
   B2 level aptitude test certification NT$3,000

四、僑生及港澳生持有抵免或入學前已有通過華語檢測標準，申請獎勵級別須高於原抵免或入學前通過的認證級別；僑生及港澳生只限以TOCFL能力測驗的檢定成績申請獎勵金。
For Overseas Chinese students, Hong Kong and Macao students who hold the credit or have passed the Chinese language test standard before enrollment, and the level of application for the award must be higher than the original credit or the certification level passed before admission, and Overseas Chinese and Hong Kong and Macao students can only apply for the award with the TOCFL proficiency test score.

五、每位學生在學期間每個獎勵級數得以申請一次為限，學生可依級數依序升級測驗，亦可跳級測驗；跳級測驗通過者，獎勵金可涵蓋較低級別一同申請。
Each student can apply for each award level once during the school year, and students can upgrade the test in order according to the number of levels, or skip the test. Those who pass the skipping test can apply for the award money covering the lower level.

六、申請時間：每學期收件一次，第一學期截止日為十一月三十日，第二學期截止日為五月三十日。逾期申請者，恕不受理。
Application Period:Accepted once per semester, the deadline for the first semester is November 30, and the deadline for the second semester is May 30. Late applications will not be accepted.

七、申請程序：學生填妥華語能力檢定獎勵申請表(詳如附表一)，並檢附證書、成績單正本及影本各一份、學生證影本、 學生本人金融帳戶存簿封面影本，規定期限前送至學務處職涯發展組辦理。
Application Requirement: The student need to complete the Chinese Language Proficiency Test Award Application Form (see Appendix 1 for details), and attaches a copy of the certificate, an original and a copy of the transcript, a copy of the student ID card, and a copy of the cover of the student's financial account book, then submit it to the Division of Career Development of the Office of Student Affairs before the specified deadline.

八、 獎勵金經費額度及來源：教育部大專校院國際生留臺就業輔導專業化計畫。
The amount and source of the incentive fund: the Ministry of Education's Specialized Program for International Student Career Counseling in Colleges and Universities:

(一)獎勵金總額視當年度經費編列預算，獎勵金額核發完畢，不再受理申請。
The total amount of the reward shall be budgeted according to the current year's funds, and the application will not be accepted after the award amount is issued.
(二)僑生及港澳生持有抵免或入學前已有通過華語檢測標準能力達C級能力以上者，視經費預算作核發。
Overseas Chinese students, Hong Kong and Macao students who hold the credit or have passed the Chinese language test standard and have passed the Chinese language test standard before enrollment and can reach grade C or above, will be approved and issued according to the budget.

九、 本要點經學務會報通過後實施。
This Chinese language award shall be implemented after being approved by the Student Affairs Report.
